Great thoughts and questions you raise here. I love it when someone is singing my song!

Focus and persistence in hearing from the Lord, following His lead despite what our heads and emotions may tell us are key things to consider. Certainly the path to the new place God has prepared is often a bit of a mystery, but know there is a direction and a process that is provided as well. Enjoy the journey and it helps to find others to talk with as you go!

I am thrilled that I came across your blog and this most recent post. I have just started a blog called Caring for Kailey. Kailey is our adopted daughter. We adopted her through the foster system and she is such a blessing. I just posted a page about fostering and our experience. We have such a heart for fostering and believe that God led us to foster/adopt.

I am glad that your added the financial piece. Being a foster parent is not about the money. Foster parents may receive a minimal day rate and allowances but the amount is never enough to truly support children needing care.

Love and support is the most important thing a Foster Parent can provide.

I look forward to reading each Friday!

Thanks!
